Òran Mor is the name of my band, the line up being :- Roy Hendrie - accordion Bobby Stewart - accordion and vocals Gavin Welsh - Drums The band play all Ceilidh Dances, with instructions " called " if required, and a variety of "middle of the road" songs.

Roy Hendrie : I started playing the accordion when I was 10 years old, under the tuition of Jimmy Blair from Glasgow. At the age of 15, I won the British Junior Championship, held in Troon, Scotland 1981.

I now live in Troon, working as an Air Traffic Controller, and when I moved here in 1992, I picked up the Accordion again after not playing for 8-9 years.

I have performed solo at various concerts in Scotland, broadcast on radio,and recorded a 2 CD albums.
